Cinema and VR on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the reconstruction of the Old Town at the Cold War Museum

We invite everyone to the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the reconstruction of Warsaw’s Old Town with the Cold War Museum! Due to ongoing construction work aimed at opening our new headquarters at 1/3 Jezuicka Street, we invite you right next door to Kanon 20/22.

Starting at 6:30 PM, there will be a movie screening, during which you will watch, among others, an animation based on the comic book “Jack Strong,” narrated by Piotr Fronczewski, and an animated map from 1970, depicting Soviet attack plans on Europe.

But that’s not all for this Saturday evening! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a spy transmitting secret information to the USA to prevent the outbreak of World War III? You can experience it on Saturday starting at 9:00 PM through a VR goggle game – become a spy from the Cold War era and take as many pictures of secret documents as possible using a camera hidden in a lighter. Don’t get caught by the Soviet officer!

Join us in celebrating on Saturday, July 22, from 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM together with the Cold War Museum!
