At the General Kukliński Cold War Museum, the museum’s director, Filip Frąckowiak, and Sara Forden jointly unveiled a memorial plaque for CIA officer David Forden 🇺🇸 🇵🇱
David Forden was the case officer for General Ryszard Kukliński, his close friend, and the head of the Eastern Europe and Soviet Russia Division at the CIA. Thanks to his dedication, information from Ryszard Kukliński about Soviet attack plans on Europe reached the United States. In 1988, he retired and was honored with the CIA’s highest award, the Distinguished Intelligence Medal. He passed away at the age of 88 in Washington, D.C.
The Polish-American ceremony was attended by representatives from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, Ambassador Jerzy Koźmiński, Ambassador Stephen Mull, and Peter Chudy, among others.
